2011 Cockburn Vintage Port

2011 Cockburn Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (11/25/2013)
Decanted 6 hours. Purple opaque, v smooth. Full bodied w loads of berries, soft tannins. V approachable and elegant, a pleasure to drink. Alcohol integrated v well from the first sip after popped to when we drank it. (94 pts.)

Certainly one of the best recent vintages of Cockburn's, although some scores handed out by a few of the big name pundits have astounded me. :oops:
