Have you picked your Super Bowl Port yet?
Or will you be drinking something else?
I already have an Andresen 20-yr old open and will be opening another bottle of something (as yet undecided, but likely an older VP) for dinner with friends on Saturday night. So leftovers from those two will be my Sunday blood pressure controlling drink! :)

Yes, and it is a blend of coffee beans from various places of which I don't know. I'm sure 7-11 does. Yup you guessed it, I'll be working instead of watching and enjoying some Port or Douro wines

The Presidential 20y may last that long, but if not, perhaps 2004 Noval LBV

What port goes well with chili? I'm leaning towards an LBV, or ruby reserve.

Either of those would work. Something bold and fruity works for me.John F. Newman wrote:What port goes well with chili? I'm leaning towards an LBV, or ruby reserve.

If I get to see any Superbowl, I'll be the same as Andy and will be drinking coffee as it will be in the tea room at work. The time difference means that it is usually on sometime during late morning for me. I'm a bit of a coffee snob though, so I probably will know the origin of my beans thoughAndy Velebil wrote:Yes, and it is a blend of coffee beans from various places of which I don't know. I have a '74 SW Crusted that keeps staring me in the eye, but I would rather save one for some port geeks. I need cellar defenders; if I can get to one store tomorrow, they have D'Oliveiras 10 year or 10 year Ferreira for $25. If guests are coming over, I'll a '63 Croft or Sandeman.

Finally decided to decant a 1977 Gould Campbell for tonight's dinner, so leftovers from that plus the remainder of the Andresen 20-yr old are my final choice! Until I need more, at least.

Turns out when I went to the store yesterday to pick up the 20y Presidential, the same LWS that had 4 the day before, had none :-(. I'll likely be drinking the 20y Ferreira I picked up instead.

Since you are Scottish I'll let it slide. Just this sport though. If you start watching monster truck racing and waving a confederate flag around you'll end up buried in a peat bog hahahaDerek T. wrote:The first Super Bowl I watched was XVII, the 'skins beat the Dolphins 27-17.Andy Velebil wrote:You do realize football here is with an oblong ball, not a round one?
