Opened this one a few days ago. It had a very crumbly cork. The colour was dark Burgundy, slightly transparent at the rim. Decant 5 hours. On the nose some ripe fruit and alcohol. On the palate lots of sweet fruit, prunes, also some bitter tones. Not very balanced, some heat and a medium aftertaste.
The second and third day it all came together, a lovely round, smooth, velvety VP (not cloying) with lots of raisins, prunes, sweet red and dark fruit, some grapefruit and some spiciness too. Very nice medium-long aftertaste. Much better than the first day (maybe I've to extent my decant time as I tend to like VP better on day 2 and 3 most of the times).
At 23 euro I payed for some years ago a very good value.

I've had a few bottles of this port now, and its been wonderfully consistent and tasty.
