1970 Cockburn Vintage Port

Decant: 11 hours - Mature red colour, 50% opaque. Menthol nose with some rose perfume. Sweet entry, good thick texture. Big palate presence with the fruit growing beautifully and becoming very dominating. Heat on the aftertaste then a long fruity finish - really long. This is big flavoured, fantastic port - wow! Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1977. 97 points
