Decant: 10 hours - Deep red, paling rim; 95% opaque. Dusty cherries on the nose, well developed, slightly sour. Rich fruity entry, lots of dark cherry Genoa cake. Big on the palate, really mouthfilling. Lovely acidity but a slight thinness or harshness to the palate. Tingling aftertaste, leaving hot cheeks and a cough mix finish. Enjoyable, but with some harsh elements. 89 points
