Decant: 5 hours - Warm red colour, looking mature. Attractive and mature on the nose, full of cedar and sweet red jelly. Slightly past its peak on the palate, with the heat showing more than would be ideal. Nice texture and flavours with a lovely tobacco infused fruitiness with the spice building up to big levels. Mid weight, nicely balanced with powerful acidity. Big aftertaste and powerful finish that fades quickly but then changes course and persists for ages. Very nice, mature port that makes enjoyable drinking. 87 points
