1942 Niepoort Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Ex-cellars in a 1 litre bottle. Deep orange in colour, 20% opaque. Attractive nose with rich and mature fruit with a touch of burnt sugar. Mature leathery fruit all over the palate. Soft tannins show on the mid-palate but there is still so much fruit. A bit of heat shows on the aftertaste before the long finish takes over. A very fine port. 94 points
