Decant: Not Known - Deep burnished red, 50% opaque. Mature nose of sweet fruit and lively spices. Sweet entry, a little hollow. Lively and spirity on the mid-palate with mature sweet fruit coming through on the late palate. Still very youthful, feels like it has the potential to be quite big, carrying masses of sweet red fruit. Very hot on the aftertaste, before releasing a big chewy finish of good length. Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1977. 94 points
