1983 Offley Boa Vista Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Deep red and youthful looking, opaque. Pine resin dominates the nose. Subdued on entry, deep and tight. Rich and youthful fruit slowly unwinds on the palate to give great depth of flavour. Big and chewy finish, with lots of fruit and lots of pine wood with the palate still constrained by dry and forceful tannins. Really rather an impressive port that is in need of much more time in the cellar. 92 points
