1927 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Not Known - According to the label, this was late bottled, although no bottling date was given. Modest orange in colour, with a hint of apple-green on the rim. Smokey nose, with lots of Lapsang Souchong tea over some gentle lychee. Soft and gentle texture, with light golden syrup wrapped around a gentle sweet and bitter marmalade. Great volume on the palate. Lovely gentle, dusty tannins sit on the palate. Lovely complex finish - sweet and orange. Very fine. 92 points
