2000 Sandeman Vau Vintage Port

Decant: 8 hours - From a double magnum but decanted into a half bottle before serving. Dark red, opaque centre, narrow transparent rim. Smooth on the nose, a little floral and sweeter than the previous two glasses. Youthful, grippy entry with plenty of fruit and tannins that need more time to weaken and soften. Dry tannins on the finish - will be a terrific port in the future. Served blind that was guessed to be a '96 Vau. 89 points
