Decant: None - Bottling date not known, IVDP selo reference number was D454698. A deeper chestnut colour than many of the other wines shown over the weekend, colour holding right into the rim. Molasses and mint on the nose, a touch of heat, a touch of cut grass. Thick, warm and sweet in the mouth. Develops a lovely caramel flavour with a lot of supporting fruit. Gorgeous finish, mouthfilling flavours of brown sugar, apple juice and toffee. A great wine let down a little by the nose. 92 points
