TN: 1970 Croft Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 6 hours - Mid red colour, clear centre with a light rim and crystalline clarity. Orange and mimolet on the nose, but a swirl of the glass releases a good dose of alcohol. In the mouth, this starts quietly before releasing a flood of fruit and some intense acidity. Lots of bitter cranberries and seville orange peel. A lovely, big and warm oftertaste with delicious flavours of dried morello cherries. A very tasty port. 91 points
