TN: 1960 Delaforce Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Mid red, mature in colour with a light centre. Restrained, somewhat soapy nose, but a little flat. Silky texture, slightly thicker than most of the other 1960s tasted at the same event - a lovely texture. Great flavour profile with plenty of complexity. Big aftertaste and a big finish that lingers and rolls around the tongue. Very flavoursome port - shame about the nose because on the palate this puts the Sandeman to shame. 89 points
