TN: 1963 Ferreira Vintage Port

Decant: 16 hours - Ullaged to low shoulder. Very light colour, the palest of the wines being tasted. Some bottle stink on the nose which overwhelms most other smells. In the mouth this is thickly textured and very sweet. Perhaps a little simple, but showing sweet and floral flavours. Very mature, refined and elegant but not showing much. Aftertaste is very muted but the length develops quietly. Enjoyable and elegant, likely to hold for a decade. 82 points
