TN: 1948 Fonseca Vintage Port

Decant: 5 hours - Army & Navy bottled. Ullaged to mid shoulder. Deep colour, more red than brown. Slightly farmyardy nose over a lovely clover honey. Very thick texture, lovely and lively in the mouth; full and flavoursome. A darned big port! The aftertaste is a little subdued, but very pleasant. 90 points
