TN: 1963 Fonseca Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Deep red but transparent centre with some hints of paling on the rim. Warm and inviting nose with cloves and warm cherry pie. Fabulous entry, just fills the mouth with tannins before flooding it through with so much fruit. Raisins on the aftertaste, which just lasts for ages. Astonishing wine with years ahead of it yet. 8/9. 95 points
