TN: 2007 Niepoort Vintage Port

Decant: None - Young and red in colour. Smells of sharp and unripe blackcurrant. Very acidic, aggressive in the mouth - almost painfully so. Takes a long time to fade. Eventually, the fruit comes through. Little tannin shows through. The aftertaste is lacking immediate impact but the finish lasts for a while. Not a great showing. 86-88. 86 points
