I was out for a few days at my aunt country house. So now I'm back and I could not wait to open a Douro wines :)

Made with the help of Fernando Van Zellar, cousin of Christiano, this wine still have a deep saturated ruby color. The nose is quite complex after 2 hours in the bottle, showing powerful notes of ripe red berries, red licorice, wood tweaks and vanilla falvours. Mouth is smooth on the entry, full of red ripe fruits, currants and licorice, good concentration. Then sharp acidity and dry tannins are showing to end it on nice red fruit flavours. The oak is really integrating well in this wine, 2 years ago, it was showing much more oak creamy texture. 16.5/20+
