TN: 1970 Quarles Harris Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Slightly deeper than mid-red in colour, nice pigmentation in the centre and paler on the rim. A lovely floral nose, with perfumed redcurrants to the fore. Sweet and balanced in the mouth, perhaps a touch too much acidity showing but plenty of fruit. The aftertaste is gentle, mouth fillin and something to be savoured. A lovely and elegant port. 89 points
