TN: 1982 Royal Oporto Vintage Port

Decant: 1½ hours - Fruity nose, perhaps with a slight hint of VA. Sweet and balanced entry, initially hollw and with limited fruit; there is also a harsh bitterness present. Less well balanced than the Delaforce 1982 shown alongside. Bottle stink tones show on the palate. Hot aftertaste, followed by a bitter start and a bland finish. Not pleasant port. 80 points
