TN: 1970 Taylor Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Paired with the Sandeman 1970. Deep red, still showing some youth in the colour. Nose of cherry juice and redcurrants. Smooth and fruity with raspberries and maraschino cherry. Lots of midpalate complexity and some burning spiciness. The aftertaste takes a while to arrive, but lasts a good time as a gentle strawberry blancmange flavour. Great drinking, but will probably be better in 5 years time or with more time in the decanter. 91/100.
