TN: 1994 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Deep red colour, opaque centre. Huge nose, positively enormous with huge levels of perfume leaping out of the glass. Neutral entry but with an aggressive mid-palate; still hugely tannic but behind this is a sweet and restrained fruitiness. Lots of complexity on the palate and a lovely chocolate flavour running through. This is a massive port, with a huge aftertaste and a longth length with a great grape-skin tone running right through. 95 points
