In Search of PX - 1971

Post by Stewart T. »

I'm looking for a bottle of 1971 Toro Albala Pedro Ximenez Don PX Sherry. They used to be ubiquitous around Seattle, but now that I'm looking for a bottle, can't seem to find one. Even winesearcher only shows a single bottle in the US.

Stocking up on 1971's for my 40th birthday in April, so if you happen to have a bottle you might be willing to part with, please PM me or email at admin@fortheloveofport.com.

Thanks!

I still have a half bottle of that here in Muscat (it was even locally available!). You can have it, but you'd have to come by and pick it up yourself. :D

Stewart - I have a bottle that you're welcome to. It's been sleeping in my wine fridge for a couple of years... as I recall I picked it up at Fine Wines & Cigars in Redmond Town Center.

You are a true gentleman, Glenn!

I'll see if I can dig up a little something from my cellar that will hopefully be worthy of a swap. ;-)

No worries! Just remind me the next time we're going to see each other or I'll probably forget about it. That's basically why it has survived until now... I keep forgetting that it's there!
