1997 Barao de Vilar Colheita Port

Decanted for abt 1.5 hrs. Medium red colour with a touch of brown. Quite complex aroma incl oak, but overshadowed by the brandy. Powerful taste, some fruit towards the end, but also the taste was “filled” by spirit. Medium finish. An OK tawny of approx 10 years, but nothing more. 82 pts.
