2007 Alves de Sousa "Christmas Wine"
Harvested very late - in December, according to our host. Inspired by Italian Reccioto and Vincente styles. Thick, luscious, and very sweet - 250 g/l - yet somehow still not cloying. Very rich and stately. I wish I could buy this somewhere. Only 10% alcohol by volume.
Score: 93 points. I don't have much more in my notes, but I remember liking this wine a lot.
