2003 Quinta do Crasto LBV Port -- unfiltered

Bottled 2008. Decanted 4.5 hrs. Dark red. Fruity aroma of berries, oak and some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, balanced, too much tannins and not so elegant. Rather short finish where only the spirit is left in the mouth. A bit disappointing in such a good vintage year as 2003. 85 pts.
