1963 Kopke Colheita

Color: Very tawny, rich and fairly dark looking.
Nose: Oak, meyer lemon, some hard to identify spice... possibly nutmeg?
Palate: Smooth and sweet with a texture like heated honey. Wonderful. Apricots, more meyer lemon, vague cinnamon/cardamom-like spice.
Finish: Very long and nicely sweet.
Score: 95 points. Very nice, and should continue the tradition of spectacular old Kopke Colheitas.
