6 hr Decant
At decanting this smelt quite sweet and spicy on the nose and there were some ecalypt undertones that need ed to blow off given a bit of time.
Afet 6 hrs in the decanter the nose still has spice and sweetness.
There is fruit up front but it isnt over the top. It isn't quite as sweet as it smells initially, but the sweetness is evident on the mid palete. The tannins kick in before long and provide both a dry and long finish that I'm really enjoying. The tannins suggest that this is a relatively young wine and I'll be interseted in how this develops over the next 15 years. I've got another 6 of these left and I'm very happy about that. 92 points
