Very hot and simple at first, 6 hours of decanting really helped to mellow the spirit and bring forth carmel, lavender, and dates. Not a compelling VP by any means, yet enjoyable none the less and this bottle didn't last long. My first time trying this bottle, so I don't know if it is representative or not, but based on this bottle I'd say time to drink up as this bottle was showing past it's prime and on it's downhill slide.
