1980 Ferreira Vintage Port

Color: Light tawny/orange. Cloudy. Slight yellow rim. If I didn't know better I'd have guessed this was a light 30-year old tawny, not a VP.
Nose: Faint. Light alcohol, some butterscotch.
Palate: A bit hot. Some caramel and secondary fruits. Cinnamon.
Finish: Nice and even. Pleasant warmth.

Score: 92 points. This one really seemed old. Possibly a storage problem at some point in its history? I've had the 1980 Ferreira before and it was significantly better.
