TN: 2007 Quinta de la Rosa Douro red

Decanted 2 hrs. Medium to dark red colour. A lot of oak and some fruit in the aroma. Taste also dominated by oak and relatively dry red wine. It seems the wine makers are trying to reach a balance between power and elegance, but they have not succeeded in this vintage, but may be in a few years? Nice and long finish. 88 pts.
