"Much More Than Awesome Fortified Wines!!!"

Apparently, a local wine shop has just discovered that Portugal also produces table wine...
Much More Than Awesome Fortified Wines!!!

Extremely high-quality European wines from unique, indigenous varietals made by internationally-acclaimed producers at incredibly low prices? Well, now that we’ve got your attention, please allow us to introduce you to the amazing (non-fortified) wines of Portugal. Although the great, fortified (with distilled grape spirits added) wines of Port and Madeira have a long and distinguished trade history with the United States, it’s only recently that we’ve begun to encounter table (non-fortified) wines from Portugal that justify this level of excitement. But don’t take our word for it, British MW and wine authority Jancis Robinson claims—“In many ways, Portugal has more to offer the discriminating wine drinker [than even Spain]—certainly far more indigenous grape varieties… a dazzling array of high-quality varieties that are… rarely found elsewhere.” We couldn’t agree more.
And they are hosting a tasting event.
