TN: 2007 Quinta da Leda Douro red

This is one of the better Douro reds in the Casa Ferreirinha line.
Decanted 2 hrs. Dark red/purple colour. Fantastic typical Douro-aroma of fruit and a hint of leather! Fairly nice combination of power and elegance, although the power is still more dominant than the elegance. Medium body. A very nice Douro red which I think will age well. At the moment it is lacking “depth” and could have a bit more tannins. Medium length in aftertaste. In spite of my comments I am giving it 91 pts.
