Lots of smoke and meatiness with tart cherries, moderate tannins and lots of acidity. A wine that went best with a hearty steak and that is drinking at it's best right now. A stellar Douro red wine and I wish I could find more of these in the states.

Yes, at 15-19 Euros @ Portal, this is one of the truly great values in aged Douro wines.
