Decanted 10 hours. A nose of violets, spices, perfume, and oak. The first thing that hit me on the palate was the massive acidity up front, big cherries, lots of tannins, vanilla, and oak all wrap up in a very long full finish. There is no kidding anyone, a fantastic wine now, but this is a very young wine right now and needs many more years in the cellar to integrate fully. If you only own a few don't touch them for at least another 5 years, then drink them sparingly after that.

I really enjoyed this wine too. However, I found the oak was a bit too prominent for now and although an excellent wine, I would cellar these for 3-5 years before touching ANY. Lovely but overshadowed by the four previous bottles we had. This was actually better the next day, which shows me it has the guts to age very well and improve for a long time. Nice note Andy!
