This was my second bottle. opened this year.

drank half a bottle this weekend (sat night) as dessert with some friends, but I was tanked.
recorked, and opened tonight (Monday).

Nice color, tawny brown on the edges to a nice brownish red in the interior. Strong alcohol on the nose, could use more time in a barrel! nice flavor cherry syrup / to light strawberry and cream, medium to long finish, lip smacking viscosity, a hint of bitter, like chocolate covered cocoa/coffee bean...lovely stuff. Liked it better than the 20 yr olds I have had recently.
