Decanted 1 hour then enjoyed over a couple more. No formal TN here, but I was pleased that the oak has really started to mellow and integrate, plenty of tar, dry tannins, and fresh fruit kept well balanced with the lively acidity. A long full bodied, restrained fruit finish with dusty tannins was a great way to celebrate my return from the Douro. Oh and this paired very well with a baked BBQ chicken breasts and roasted potatoes with small green beans and mushrooms.
