20 Year Old Tawny Port by Dow's

Post by Jim R. »

Brownish orange color, slight toffee and citrus nose; soft, sweet, caramel flavors. Mellow and integrated but short finish. Overpriced. 88 points.

Re: Dow 20 year tawny

Funny thing, I've never really liked this much either. Not a bad wine, just nothing that ever had me wanting more and certainly I've not bought any. In all honesty, I've wondered why the 10 and 20 year old Dow Tawnies are not much better than they are, because I am typically a lover of Dow Ports.
