1997 Gould Campbell Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Light red colour, 50% opaque. Lovely floral nose, lots of lavender and damson. Sweet but light fruit, on the light side of medium bodied. Soft and fruit forward palate with just the right support from the tannins and ripe acidity. Hollow aftertaste but lovely glowing licorice and aniseed finish. Interesting - drinking nicely now and I will be curious to see how this develops. 85 points
