Decant: 5 hours - Mid red, with a hint of orange in the colour; 80% opaque. Modest oranges on the nose, and a swirl releases some bottle stink. Blood oranges on the palate and dry tannins that hold the cheeks; a touch of birch-sap bitterness on the mid-palate that fades to leave modest fruit. Dry cheeks and teeth on the lingering finish of raisins and birch-wood. 84 points
