Decant: 5 hours - Based on the 1972 colheita. Light brown in colour, with a pale rim. Slightly dirty on the nose, dominated by oranges. Fresher entry than the base wine, with less concentration but fresher flavours. The sweetness comes through late on the palate. Heat on the aftertaste from the acidity of the wine before a long, chewy finish that is slightly on the sweet side. NR points
