NV Brunheda 40 Year Old Tawny Port

Post by Rune EG »

Bottled 2011. Decanted 1.5 hrs. Brown cognac colour. A bit oxidized. Powerful aroma of bitter almonds, wood and dates. Very nicely structured 40 yrs old tawny which was smooth, elegant and still powerful all the way. Wonderful taste of caramel, wood, coffee etc. My family was very excited about this port. One more bottle to go! 94 pts.

Agreed! Everyone that I have tasted on this port has loved it! I wish I could get more [beg.gif]

I only got one bottle which I haven't consumed yet and I wish I had more. I've got a special occasion later in the year when I'm intending to open mine.
