Looks like it's slightly cheaper at a few other sites, including Wine Library and Saratoga, if this is the same wine: http://www.wine-searcher.com/find/lemos ... maria/2009 Not a big difference, and it probably comes down to shipper preference at this point, and whatever else is included in the fine print.

I've never used Last Call. How does it compare to places like WTSO and Cinderella/Wine Library?

I've had good luck with them. They sell one wine at a time until it is sold out, then they post the next wine.

They usually list the previous day's lowest price on winesearcher (including shipping) and they usually price theirs under that.

They also almost always offer free shipping with a minimum purchase - sometime just one bottle on the more expensive wines, free with two or more bottles on some of the other wines. The Van Zeller above, for example, was free shipping on two or more bottles.

Regardless of pricing, the wine is very solid. As soon as I tried this youngster in a finished bottle, (after trying it as a cask sample early on) I bought a six pack some time ago. Not going to touch any for a year or two. IF you are serious about Douro wines, this is a very fine bottling. Thanks Stewart! [cheers.gif]
