1970 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Tom D. »

1970 Graham Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (5/2/2012)
Great depth of color, a generally youthful cherry-garnet. Fresh, expressive, inviting nose of cinnamon, chocolate, rhubarb, red berry, and anise. Similar profile on the palate, terrific balance, velvety mouthfeel, longish and very clean finish. Delicious now, not a lot of structure in this bottle, but this has the stuffing to survive many more years, showing only flashes of tawny character now. Christopher of London bottling, neck fill despite considerable fresh seepage. (94 pts.)
