1904 Croft Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Red in colour, 40% opaque. Nose full of warm, over-ripe oranges, vanilla and nettles. Modest entry, and develops well in the mouth; bitters on the edge of the tongue. Air releases more flavour and increases the intensity of those flavours. Modest aftertaste, but a big finish that fills the mouth with terrific intensity. An astonishing and vibrant port. 94/100. Drunk 16-Dec-10.
