TN: 2009 Pintas Character (Wine & Soul) Douro red

Decanted 3.5 hrs (needs minimum 2.5 hrs). Purple/dark red colour. Aroma full of red fruit such as currant. Taste is round, balanced, full body, good tannins, a bit dry. Medium long aftertaste. 90 pts.

I have yet to try anything from this producer, but I am surprised that I don't see a lot of raves given the big premium this house charges for its wines.
