1980 Caves Messias Porto Vintage Quinta do Cach�o - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/21/2012)
Light to medium brownish red. The palate has some sweet plums and cherries, but with some alcohol heat as well. The wine is completely one-dimensional. It's drinkable and maybe a little interesting from an oddity standpoint as it's from a little seen producer, but there's nothing here to seek out. (75 pts.)
