2001 Redoma Tinto in decanter

Post by Roy Hersh »

I'll come back to fill in some details after I try it. Interestingly, this bottle had a 2000 vintage label on it. But in a black magic marker there was a 1 printed over the last zero. I was not sure how that happened or if it was purchased that way. However, when I was teaching Taylor how to remove corks from bottles earlier today, we noted it was a 2001 after all, not a 2000.

More later or tomorrow, as this will be paired with a beautiful medium rare prime USDA steak tonight, smothered in salt, pepper and mushrooms sauteed in 2007 Dow's LBV.

Sounds like a sample bottle

Look forward to hearing how it shows.
