1963 Croft Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 11 hours - From a seeping bottle. Bricked colour, full of fine particulate. Attractive on the nose, with stewed plums and violets. Lovely entry, very sweet with lots of dates and plums. Lively and spicy; dry and balanced with very soft tannins. Huge aftertaste and a massive dry finish dominated by tobacco and red fruit pastilles. Simply delicious. Served blind this was guessed to be Taylor 1960. 87 points
